The landslide on La Peña hill occurred on Friday, following heavy rains in the State of Mexico.
Three people, including a 10-year-old girl, were found alive at the scene.
Adrián Hernández, coordinator of Civil Protection for the State of Mexico, lamented that despite the efforts of the rescue teams, nine people have died.
The authority explained that work and support deployment in Jilotzingo are being reinforced.
584 elements from the three levels of government remain at the scene to continue searching.
Four shelters were set up for families who had to leave their homes after the landslide.
