Death toll due to rain rises to 76 and 30 missing people are reported

In the most recent update, the Government of Mexico specified that 22 people have died in Hidalgo, 19 in Puebla, one in Querétaro, as well as 34 in Veracruz and none in San Luis.

While the number of missing people decreased compared to this Thursday (72): 20 in Hidalgo, five in Puebla and 14 in Veracruz.

In addition, it was reported that 329 roads were closed in the five states affected by the rains.

This Friday, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, supervised the cleaning and support work for the population in the municipalities of Álamo and Tempoal, Veracruz, as part of her fourth day of tours through the territory to directly assist those affected by the extraordinary rains that were recorded from October 6 to 9.
