New elements emerge in the investigation into the murder of the former Vice Minister of Internal Security, Javier Ibarra, killed by two bullets at his home on November 24.

“Ibarra owed him four months of salary, that motivated Óscar Caballero’s anger and that generated the claim, there was an argument that morning, Javier Ibarra took out his gun and put it on the table, there, Óscar Caballero shoots him twice.”explained prosecutor Julio Ortiz in an interview with 780 AM.
Subsequently, Caballero stole some documents from Ibarra’s fanny pack and burned them. Until now, the content of those papers is not known, of which Caballero evidently wanted to get rid of and prevent it from reaching someone’s hands.
