As a consequence of the current writers’ strike and other factorsDisney is the first Hollywood studio to announce massive changes to its film schedule for the next few years, including modifications to Marvel movie releases.
With the exception of The Marvels and the third installment of Deadpool (which is already filming and can bring forward its release date), the House of Ideas has no choice rather than delay the rest of the outstanding titles from Phases 5 and 6.
Disney has also already reserved spaces in its release calendar for two new Marvel Studios projects:
-The Marvels will be released on November 9, 2023 (remains on its release date)
-Deadpool 3 is ahead of May 2, 2024 (before November 7, 2024)
-Captain America: Brave New World is delayed to July 25, 2024 (before May 2, 2024)
-Thunderbolts is delayed to December 19, 2024 (before July 25, 2024)
-Blade is delayed to February 13, 2025 (before September 5, 2024)
-Fantastic Four is delayed to May 1, 2025 (before February 13, 2025)
– Marvel movie to be revealed will be released on July 24, 2025 (new premiere on the Disney calendar)
– Marvel movie to be revealed will be released on November 6, 2025 (new premiere on the Disney calendar)
-Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is delayed to April 30, 2026 (before May 1, 2025)
-Avengers: Secret Wars is delayed to May 6, 2027 (before May 1, 2026)
