The deadline for workers to withdraw the 2024 Salary Bonus ends this Friday (27). According to the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), R$27 billion were released this year to pay the benefit. However, R$218.9 million is still available in Caixa Econômica Federal and in Bank of Brazil for 239,142 workers who did not withdraw the resources.
THE payment scheduleorganized according to the worker’s month of birth, ended in August and covered 26,151,402 workers. The value of the Salary Allowance this year varies between R$118 and R$1,412 (one minimum wage), depending on the number of months worked throughout the base year of 2022.
Professionals from the private sector and public servants registered in the Social Integration Program (PIS) or Public Servant Heritage Training Program (PASEP) for at least five years, who have worked for at least 30 days in the base year are entitled to the benefit. and received up to two minimum wages per month. To receive it, the employer must have correctly entered the information in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or in eSocial.
If not withdrawn, the resources will be returned to the Worker Support Fund (FAT), in accordance with the program rules. Even if this happens, it is still possible to recover the money, via the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
Individual worker information can be obtained from the Digital Work Cardon the Gov.br portal; via the MTE call center – telephone 158, with a free call from 7am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday, except on national holidays, and at Regional Labor Superintendencies units.
To check the Salary Allowance in the Digital Work Card application, the worker must update the application, access the “Benefits” tab, select “Salary Allowance” and click on “Payments” to check the amount, credit date and bank receipt.
Caixa or Banco do Brasil
Payment of the Salary Allowance at Caixa is primarily carried out by crediting an account, when the worker has a current account, savings account or digital account; by credit via the Caixa Tem app, in a digital social savings account, automatically opened by Caixa.
For workers who do not have an account, payment will be made through channels such as branches, lotteries, self-service, Caixa Aqui and other payment channels offered by Caixa.
For those who receive payment through Banco do Brasil, payment of the benefit will be made primarily as a credit to a bank account; transfer via TED, PIX or in person at service agencies for workers without an account.
