The deadline for presenting a justification for absence in the National Examination for the Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja) 2022 ends this Friday (14). Candidates who did not attend the exam last year must provide a justification if they want to participate in the 2023 edition for free.
Those who do not justify their absence need to pay a fee of BRL 40 to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), the body responsible for the test.
The justification must be accompanied by documents with a date and signature that prove the reason for the absence from the Encceja 2022. for the candidate to file an appeal.

The entire procedure is performed through the Encceja System. If the justification for absence is approved, the candidate will be able to enroll for free in Encceja 2023. Entries must be between May 22nd and June 2nd.
Encceja has been applied since 2022 to enable young people and adults who completed their studies at the appropriate age to resume their school trajectory.
If approved, the participant can have access to certificates of completion of primary and secondary education.
