The deadline for calling up the remaining vacancies of the Student Financing Fund (Fies), which were not filled during the regular selection stages of the program and are exclusive to students effectively enrolled in the course, shift and location of offer in which they registered, ends today (19).
The call is for the first half of 2024. Candidates can check any pre-selection through Single Portal for Access to Higher Education.
According to the Fies rules, students must be enrolled at the time of registration or must have completed the semester with at least 75% of the subjects, if the semester has already ended.
Priority for selection from the waiting list is given to candidates with a per capita family income of up to half the minimum wage registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) of the federal government’s social programs.
“In these cases, it will also be possible to request financing for up to 100% of the educational costs charged by the institutions,” informed the Ministry of Education.

It is also necessary to have a gross monthly family income, per person, of up to three minimum wages.
