After meeting with the community chief in the Municipal Palace, the head of the Interior stressed: “For us, the articulation that exists between the Nation, Province and municipality is a virtue”, since “we must prioritize harmony in the community, we must prioritize the well-being of the neighbors, and that is done jointly”.
“Nation, Province, each of the municipalities, we want our neighbors to be able to live well, to be able to live better, that boys and girls can study, that they are healthy, that they can progress and that they can dream of a future in their city“said DePedro.
He also pointed out that “for that we have discussed with the mayor some steps so that Necochea continues to be that thriving city, that city that combines countryside, beach, that has its port and that gives it an important economic profile in the region.”

“We have to have the responsibility to understand that in order for us to have a better society, it is necessary to change behaviors that today are expressed in social networks but that are already within people“, expressed De Pedro during his visit to the National Camp of Scout Leaders, in which Marina Rustán, president of Scouts Argentina, also participated.
The Minister of the Interior stressed that in order to solve the problem of bullying and the mistreatment “The way out is collective, the way out is to talk about it and have it replicated everywhere, including the networks”and highlighted the work of the Scouts who “are in every town, in every city, they go to the neighborhoods, they contain, they have a logic of spirituality, of community, of solidarity that is being lost in some sectors and it is necessary to value it “.
Rustán, for his part, thanked the Minister of the Interior for the visit and called on scout leaders “to assume this role of social leaders, community leaders, cultural leaders, political leaders, with everything we learn to put it at the service of our community.” , in order to “assume the challenge of leading community and cultural processes through the accompaniment we do to our children and young people.”
The Scouts of Argentina have been present in the country for more than 100 years and provide a non-formal education proposal for children and young people in which values such as commitment, responsibility, solidarity, care for the elderly, protection of nature, among others.
Currently there are more than 75,000 scouts in the country among young people, with an age range from 5 to 21 years old, and adult volunteers who work daily to build a better world through their actions.
