Among all the fuss left by the discussion of the tax reform, one of the aspects that many forgot has to do with the Day without VAT, a day that although at some point it was said that it would be ruled out (after having included it), apparently it will finally take place in December 2022 and it would be the only time that it would be done in the Petro government.
It should be noted that for now, the tax reform would be close to being approved, since only the last approval remains in the Congress of the republic, of House and Senate, to be a reality. This would happen on November 15, according to forecasts and if nothing extraordinary happens.

As for the Day without VATalthough it had already been said that it would not be included and therefore, it will not be held during Petro’s mandate, after a conciliation in the discussion of the project, it was announced that the day will be held on next December 2, as had already been scheduled for the conclusion of this year during the Duque government.
The agreement would have been given, after congressmen agreed that the day had already been planned by merchants for a long time and suspending it would mean numerous losses.
