To the sound of “It is seen, it is felt, Edmundo President!” supporters accompanied the candidate of the Unitary Platform, Edmundo González Urrutia, and the opposition leader, María Corina Machado, in the Bolívar square of Chacao during a prayer seven days before the presidential elections
The candidate of the Unitary Platform, Edmundo González Urrutia, together with the opposition leader María Corina Machado, carried out a mass prayer this Sunday, July 21, in the Bolívar square of Chacao.
To the sound of “Se ve, se siente, Edmundo presidente!” supporters accompanied opposition leaders, who are preparing for the upcoming presidential elections, which will be held on July 28.
“We pray from every corner of Venezuela for the freedom of Venezuela and the return of our children home,” wrote González Urrutia’s campaign command on the social network X.
“I think it has been a very special day, because we are gathered here under the blessing of the Lord, who inspires us to continue forward on this path of hope, faith and inclusion,” said González Urrutia.
The flag bearer of the Unity pleaded for peace in the country. “It is time for Venezuela to find reconciliation. Enough of shouting, enough of insults. It is time for reunion,” said González Urrutia.
Let’s win with the help of God!

Machado said that next Sunday afternoon, “Venezuela will be beginning a new era.”
“We must all thank God for allowing us to be part of this enormous cause, of this great movement that has reached the core, the heart, the homes, in every corner of Venezuela and also in every part of the world where there is a Venezuelan today,” he said.
María Corina Machado also noted: “When we thought we couldn’t go on, Edmundo González arrived.
I am convinced that the hand of God is at work here too.”
The National Electoral Council offered a review this Sunday, July 21, just seven days before the presidential elections, to ensure that 100% of the voting machines are distributed in each of the country’s states and that to date there have been 10 audits.
Gonzalez says that “the people want to vote”
Earlier, the Unity candidate sent a message from the Monument to Peace in Bello Monte, where he expressed that the country is one week away from the “most important” day in the democratic history of Venezuela.
“That day, with your vote, we will begin the path to reconciliation for all Venezuelans. (…) Do not believe in threats and manipulations, they have been doing this for 25 years. They may try new obstacles, but for this people there is no obstacle that can stop them, the people want reconciliation, the people want to vote,” said Edmundo González Urrutia.
