A total of 38 new cases of COVID-19 infections were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 32 were of community transmission and six imported, which brings the confirmed accumulated to 545,231, 485 active cases, while the number of recovered patients stands at 538,926 patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.
This was announced this Saturday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through its account on the social network Twitter, @delcyrodriguezv.
It reported that the community cases are located in the following states: Caracas (18), Zulia (5), Miranda (4) and Yaracuy (2), among others:
Caracas is the entity that today registers the most new cases (18) with active infections in 10 parishes: El Valle (5), San Juan (3), San Agustín (2), San Pedro (2), among others that appear in the next sheet.
Likewise, it reported that among the imported cases; there are three coming from Panama and three from Türkiye, all with entrance through La Guaira.
Unfortunately, they report that in the last hours a 66-year-old man died in Zulia state.
In week 135 and day 944 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:
– Total infections: 545 thousand 231
– Recovered patients: 538 thousand 926 (99%)
– Current active cases: 485
– Total deceased: Five thousand 820
