Day 803|  Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 48 new cases of contagion and one imported

A total of 48 cases of COVID-19 infections due to community transmission and one imported case were detected in the last 24 hours, bringing the confirmed total to 523,540, 1,091 active cases, while the number of recovered is located in 516 thousand 729 patients healed, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Friday by the Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the social network @luchaalmada15.

He reported that the community cases of the day were detected in 15 states and are located in: Zulia 10, Barinas 9, Aragua 4, Bolívar 4, Yaracuy 4, among others that are presented in the following sheet:

Zulia is the state that today registers the most new community cases (10), with active infections in three of its 14 municipalities:

The imported case comes from Panama, with entry through La Guaira.

At week 116 and day 803 pandemic in the country, these are its general statistics:

– Total infections: 523,540

– Recovered patients: 516,729 (99%)

– Current active cases: 1,091

– Total deceased: 5,720
