A total of 116 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 115 are community and 1 importedwhich raises to 550 thousand 997 the accumulated confirmed, with 726 active caseswhile the number of recovered stands at 544 thousand 434 patientsthanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.
This was announced this Saturday by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of VenezuelaDelcy Rodríguez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19through his account on the social network Twitter, @delcyrodriguezv.
He reported that the 115 community cases are located in: Aragua (75), Miranda (13), Caracas (12), Carabobo (3), La Guaira (3), among others shown in the following slide.
Aragua is the state with the highest number of community cases with active infections in eight of the 18 affected municipalities: Girardot (36), Santiago Mariño (16), Libertador (12), Sucre (3), among others shown below:
The only imported case comes from the Dominican Republic, entering through La Guaira.
Unfortunately, 3 deaths were reported: 1 53-year-old woman in Zulia, 1 80-year-old woman in Monagas, and 1 86-year-old man in Nueva Esparta.
In week 148 and day 1,035 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:
– Total infections: 550,997
– Recovered patients: 544,434 (99%)
– Current active cases: 726
– Total deaths: 5,837
