Day 1,034 | Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 61 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 61 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which they are all communal what elevates to 550 thousand 881 the accumulated confirmed, with 624 active caseswhile the number of recovered stands at 544 thousand 423 patientsthanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Friday by the Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19through his account on the social network Twitter, @luchaalmada.

He reported that the community cases are located in: Zulia 25, Cojedes 18, Yaracuy 8, Miranda 6, Mérida 2 and Caracas 2.

Zulia state presents the majority of infections in six of its 21 municipalities: Maracaibo 20, Almirante Padilla 1, San Francisco 1, Santa Rita 1, Jesús Enrique Lossada 1 and Cabimas 1.

– Total infections: 550,881
– Recovered patients: 544,423 (99%)
– Current active cases: 624
– Total deaths: 5,834

To date we have 359 patients who are asymptomatic, 134 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 84 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 47 in the Intensive Care Unit.
