Day 1,033 |  Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 18 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 18 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which they are all communal what elevates to 550 thousand 820 the accumulated confirmed, with 572 active caseswhile the number of recovered stands at 544 thousand 414 patientsthanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Thursday by Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19through his account on the social network Twitter, @delcyrodriguezv.

He reported that the community cases are located in: Yaracuy (6), Miranda (4), Caracas (3), Táchira (2), among others shown in the following image:

Yaracuy is the state with the highest number of community cases with active infections in three of the 14 affected municipalities: San Felipe (4), Bruzual (1) and Independencia (1).

In week 148 and day 1,033 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

– Total infections: 550 thousand 820

– Recovered patients: 544 thousand 414 (99%)

– Current active cases: 572

– Total deaths: five thousand 834
