Day 1,027 |  Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 42 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 42 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which, they are all communal what elevates to 550 thousand 716 the accumulated confirmed, with 948 active caseswhile the number of recovered stands at 543 thousand 936 patientsthanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Friday, the Sector Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñezduring the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19through his account on the social network Twitter, @luchaalmada.

He reported that the community cases are located in: Zulia (14), Yaracuy (7), Sucre (7), Caracas (6), Carabobo (3), among others shown in the following image:

Zulia presents the majority of infections in three of its 21 municipalities: Maracaibo (12), Mara (1), San Francisco (1).

Likewise, he highlighted that to date we have 614 patients who are asymptomatic, 199 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 86 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 49 in the Intensive Care Unit.

In week 147 and day 1,025 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

– Total infections: 550 thousand 716.

-Patients recovered: 543 thousand 936 (99%).

– Current active cases: 948.

– Total deaths: Five thousand 832.
