Day 1,019 | Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 69 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 69 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 51 are community and 18 importedwhich raises to 550,388 confirmed accumulated, with 1,530 active caseswhile the number of recovered stands at 543 thousand 027 patientsthanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Thursday by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of VenezuelaDelcy Rodríguez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19through his account on the social network Twitter, @delcyrodriguezv.

He reported that the community cases are located in: Zulia (14), Carabobo (11), Sucre (6), Caracas (6), Apure (4), among others that are shown in the following slide.

Zulia today presents the highest number of infections in two of its 21 municipalities: Maracaibo (9) and Mara (5).

Of the 18 imported cases, 10 come from Panama, six from the Dominican Republic and two from Mexico, all entering through La Guaira.

As of today, we have no new deaths, maintaining the number of 5,831.

In week 146 and day 1,019 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

– Total infections: 550 thousand 388.

– Recovered patients: 542 thousand 027 (99%).

– Current active cases: thousand 530.

– Total deaths: Five thousand 831.
