The Italian coach Davide Ancelottison of Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti, has left his position as coach of the Botafogo after just five months on the benchannounced this Wednesday the albinegro club of Rio de Janeiro. “The club appreciates Ancelotti’s professionalism and commitment during the time he led the team and was part of the Alvinegra family,” Botafogo stated on its official channels, which announced that it will announce the new board of directors “shortly.”
According to local Brazilian media, the separation of the son of the Brazilian coach is due to an internal discrepancy related to the work methodology. The versions indicate that the conflict originated from disagreements in the intensity of the training applied by one of the physical trainers accompanying Ancelotti, born 36 years ago in Parma.

Ancelotti leaves the Botafogo bench with a record of 14 wins, 11 draws and 7 losses in 32 games played.
