Uzcátegui emphasized that Fuerza Vecinal works to build a “broad social movement” with a “clear ideology.” He was in favor of the privatization of companies that the State is no longer able to manage and considers it a “lack of respect” to say that “Venezuela was fixed”
The national leader of the Fuerza Vecinal party, David Uzcátegui, asserted this Wednesday, September 13, that from that political organization the proposal is maintained that the primaries be “open” for all sectors of the country and expressed that they still do not have a standard-bearer of that awning that represents them in those internal opposition elections, although he does not rule out the possibility of supporting a representative of civil society.
In an interview given to Globovisión, Uzcátegui emphasized that they are working on the construction of a “broad social movement”, with a “clear ideology” and that it be put at the service of the community. In other words, he stressed that they are close to people because, while seeking to alleviate their quality of life, they intend to build a structure from the grassroots.
He insisted that this organization has decentralization as its north to carry out better management that benefits citizens. In his opinion, the national Executive is afraid of this type of process due to the emergence of leadership in the regions that could produce its instability in power.

He reiterated that the Miranda state was lost due to the “ambition” of two people who did not want to go to a primary to measure themselves, although he said that the important thing is to turn the page and focus on consolidating a union in favor of the unitary candidate.
He considers that it is a “lack of respect” to say that “Venezuela was arranged”, as well as the promises made by the president, Nicolás Maduro, during his evening speeches because, in his opinion, they are “fantasies that do not materialize”.
In that sense, he stressed that the system that was implemented in the country “does not work” and proof of this is the 6.8 million Venezuelan migrants in the world. He said that there is a “small percentage” of the population in the country that is benefiting from some privileges, while 90% of the citizenry is in poverty.

For Fuerza Vecinal, expressed Uzcátegui, there are three government priorities that must be covered: an education that is massified for all, including the elderly; a preventive and curative health system of the first public and the generation of public policies that allow Venezuelans to have a quality job.
He asserted that in Venezuela one should pursue inflation in one digit; send confidence to investors, allow credits; lower the legal reserve that allows the reactivation of production and the national economy; just as he was in favor of the privatization of companies that the State is no longer capable of administering.
He gave the example that tolls are being put into operation again in the country, which for Uzcátegui could be a kind of rectification of some things by the Executive so as not to “lose control” of the population.
