The Minister of Tourism, David Colladopresented in Colombia the new platform tourism promotion “Get to know Paradise“, an initiative aimed at consolidating the Dominican Republic as the preferred destination for Latin American travelers.
The presentation brought together the main tour operators and travel agents of ColombiaPanama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Ecuador and Venezuela. Collado explained the novelties, strengths and opportunities offered by the various Dominican destinations, from Santo Domingo and Santiago to Puerto Plata, Samaná, La Romana, Miches and Punta Cana.
The meeting also included the participation of specialized media, general press and digital platforms oriented to travel and lifestyle, who closely followed the demonstrations and activities prepared for the day.

The activity included immersive experiences designed to connect guests with the cultural diversity Dominican:
· Sip & Paint with Korah Studio: Artistic session inspired by Colonial Cityaccompanied by Dominican coffee.
· Sugar Cane: Rum Tasting: Sensory tour guided by experts who highlighted the history and quality of rum with designation of origin.
· The Cave of Eden: Taino Legacy: Demonstration of making casabe and approach to ancestral Taíno traditions.
· Merengue and Bachata with Swing: Dance class in modality Silent Diskfocused on the most emblematic rhythms of the country.
With this launch, the Ministry of Tourism reinforces your promotion strategy in Latin America, betting on solid alliances, cultural exchange and a direct presentation of the wealth that makes the Dominican Republic in it leading destination of the Caribbean.
