David Alonso conquers the Barcelona GP and consolidates his legacy in motorcycling

The Colombian David Alonso (CFMoto) has finished the season with his first world title with the fourteenth victory of the season, a new record of wins in a single year, by winning the Barcelona Solidaridad Moto3 Grand Prix, ahead of the Spaniards Daniel Holgado (Gas Gas) and Ángel Piqueras (Honda).

The third place was initially occupied by the also Spanish Adrián Fernández (Honda), who was sanctioned with a three-second penalty for going off the track in turn one and returning without losing time, so he fell from third to eleventh position.

Once again, David Alonso knew how to wait for the right moment to attack all his rivals and seal what was the seventh consecutive victory and the fourteenth of the season, a milestone sport that will be difficult to match and surpass in the future.
