MIAMI, United States. — Liam Milanés, one of the daughters of Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés, denied the rumors about the alleged death of her father that circulated this Wednesday on social networks.
“I think I should clarify on behalf of the family that my father is still with us and alive, thanks to the generous universe. We are grateful to those who have truly cared about his state of health. Strength,” Liam wrote on his Twitter account. Facebook.
In the morning hours, false news began to circulate on social networks about the alleged death of the Cuban singer-songwriter, who is hospitalized in Madrid due to “recurring infections” that afflict him.
On November 12, the troubadour’s Artistic Office issued a release informing that he was hospitalized in a medical center in Madrid, but that he remained in stable condition.
Pablo Milanés’ health problems forced the cancellation of several concerts that the singer-songwriter was to offer: on November 30 in Mexico City and on December 5 in Santo Domingo.
A presentation scheduled for last Sunday at the Navarra Baluarte Conference Center and Auditorium was also suspended.
The statement from his Artistic Office specified that the conditions that forced Pablo’s hospitalization are not linked to the oncohematological disease that the singer-songwriter has suffered for several years and that forced him to settle in the Spanish capital at the end of 2017 to receive treatment ” non-existent” in Cuba.
