The congressman from Popular Action Darwin Espinoza called on the legislator Patricia chirinos placeholder image, from Advance Country, reconsider before the “absurd motion of presidential vacancy” which he announced last week. He considered that this initiative it only damages the image of the Congress of the Republic in front of the population, who already has mistrust regarding the work being done in the Parliament.
“These attitudes damage the image of the Congress and of Peruvian politics. The opinion of the street is that once again (Congress) wants to vacate the president, as they do not care about the problems that the country is experiencing and are determined to hit the government so that this falls. If Pedro Castillo does a good job, we will all benefit. I believe that personal appetites or revanchisms for losing an election are leading us astray, “he told Canal N.
In this line, Darwin Espinoza noted that there are congressmen who seem to be working with an “agenda of their own” at Parliament: “Most of us congressmen have in mind that there is no possibility of a presidential vacancy, but there are always people or leaders with their own agenda who have interests different from ours to make themselves known with this kind of attitudes or motions”added.
