The Secretary of Energy of the Nation, Dario Martinezconsidered this Sunday that the former president Mauricio Macri he is “forgetful, suffers from profound amnesia or has a conscious perversity in his proposals”, after the former president assured that there is a “dramatic lack” of energy in the country as a “direct consequence of the four Kirchner governments”.
“There is a lack of energy. There is a lack of diesel. The truckers cannot get the fuel to take the harvest to the port and they have to queue for miles. At this rate, in the winter there will be a lack of gas. (…) This dramatic lack of energy It is not an accident or an unexpected situation, it is direct consequence of the four Kirchner governments,” said Macri in your personal Facebook account.
And Martinez replied: “Is Macri forgetful or is he doing it? Either he suffers from a deep amnesia, or he has a conscious perversity in his proposals and statements. Statements that, as unusual as they may seem, simultaneously try to make us forget the very serious problems that he generated in his government, claiming for them and for their solutions the Government of our President Alberto Fernández and our Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner “.
Martinez described as “unusual“Macri’s statements, accused him of try to “make forget the very serious problems generated by his government” and affirmed that the macrista management in energy matters “only generated problems”.

The Secretary of Energy pointed to “Macri who was president was incapable of building the much-needed gas pipeline that today demands. On the contrary, he designed such a weak tender that it failed twice, delaying this work that is so important for our energy development.”
Martinez argued that “It was our government that launched the largest expansion of the natural gas transportation network in recent yearswith the award of the first stage of the Néstor Kirchner gas pipeline and complementary works that Macri did not know or did not want to do and now demands”.
He then emphasized that “Macri did not know how to generate the necessary predictability that energy policy needs. He left Vaca Muerta paralyzed with a scheme that condemned gas generation to a sustained reduction. This meant an annual decline of 8% and a structural growth of imports”.
“All these things, Macri did not know or did not want to do them, even his renewable energy policy was designed only to make his friends fortunes,” Martínez warned.
The official remarked that the former president “in this way only managed to subject our country to paying very expensive prices for a form of generation that requires the importation of the vast majority of its equipment.”
Finally, Martínez concluded that “the Macri who was president with his economic and energy policy only generated problems. He took a country with virtually no external debt and left it without reserves and with a monumental and unpayable debt, and that same Macri who was president today complains about the lack of foreign exchange”.
