San Juan de la Maguana. – The former president of the Republic and president of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Danilo Medinadenounced this Sunday the serious abandonment in which are the public hospitals of the country, including Health centers Inaugurated during their management, and assured that he will continue to defend with figures and statistics the legacy of progress of his administration, in response to the recent criticisms of the president Luis Abinader.
From the Provincial Assembly of the PLD in San Juan de la Maguana, Danilo Medina directly responded to the current president, who had suggested to “quote real figures” in his public statements. “The ones I give,” said the former head of state, stressing that the numbers he presents are part of the development achieved during the Peledeist governments.

I am not looking for controversy with anyoneI am simply defending the management of our party, ”he said.

“Deterior hospitals, damaged teams and abandoned works mark current management,” he said.
He stressed that in many centers, including those with cutting -edge technology installed in their administration, the equipment has stopped working and that it is no longer possible to perform basic exams such as radiographs.

He recalled that The PLD eliminated hospital rooms with a single bathroom in its managementand measures were taken to avoid the accumulation of bacteria in the facilities, such as the elimination of corners in buildings. In San Juan, he mentioned that a modern anti -fire system was installed that was never tested or maintained by the current authorities, and that today is inoperative, as well as laboratories and diagnostic equipment.
