Former President of the Republic Danilo Medina, president of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) attended the funeral of the leader of that organization, Ruddy Alexander Díaz, who was a member of the Central Committee of the political organization.

Ruddy Diaz passed away on Friday in Santo Sunday and his body was laid to rest in his hometown of Las Matas de Farfán, province of San Juan, where he became municipal president of the PLD, twice alderman and regional director of Sports.

Since Friday afternoon his body was on display at the De Los Santos Funeral Home in Las Matas de Farfán. His burial was planned at the municipal cemetery and a tribute was held before arriving at the cemetery at the municipal headquarters of the Liberation Party. Dominican.
