Danilo continues today the swearing-in of new members of the PLD

Former President Danilo Medina will continue today with the swearing-in of new members, many of them who decided to leave other political entities, to join the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).

In a press release from the PLD, the former president will swear in almost “19,000 citizens” in an act that is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. in the Multiuso de Sabana Perdida, located on Avenida Charles de Gaulle.

The president of the PLD will be in the company of the general secretary, Charles Mariotti, as well as the leaders of the organization in North Santo Domingo and a representation of members of the Political Committee.

The act of reception of new members of the PLD of the Santo Domingo Norte municipality is the third under the “Adding Stars” scheme.

Danilo Medina, in his capacity as President of the PLD, has the responsibility of taking the oath of the new members of the party at the solemn moment of the activity in which speeches and animations alternate.

The swearing-in activity of new members of the PLD in the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte, is guided under the scheme of PLD acts in which order, organization and discipline predominate, is specified in the note released by the Secretary of Communications of the PLD.
