National midfielder Daniel Rojas has confirmed his continuity in Oriente Petrolero for the 2025 season, despite the complicated economic situation that the club is going through. In recent statements, Rojas expressed his commitment to the team and his desire to fulfill his contract, although he also admitted that the year will be challenging for both him and the club.
“I came to talk to the leadership, to look for solutions. They owe me money, but I want to help the club. I’m going to stay, I still have a contract for one more year and I’m going to fulfill it,” said the midfielder. In this way, Rojas cleared up any doubts about his permanence in the albiverde club, despite the financial inconveniences that Oriente Petrolero faces.
Rojas also emphasized the financial difficulties that the club has suffered and the outstanding debt it has with it. “What I am owed is a considerable amount, although there are not many months of debt. However, I always had the predisposition to fix my situation,” he explained. The player was willing to collaborate to find a solution that benefits both parties.
The footballer added that he has already spoken with the president of Oriente Petrolero, Ronald Raldes, about the situation, and expressed confidence that an agreement will be reached. “I already spoke with the president, he has given me a solution and I hope it is fulfilled,” Rojas highlighted.
Regarding the start of the preseason, Rojas indicated that there is still no official information on the start date. “About the start of the preseason I wouldn’t know what to say, they have to tell us that, but so far there is nothing,” said the midfielder, who also hopes to be able to join the work when the situation normalizes.
In his message to the fans, Rojas asked for support and understanding for what is coming. “I tell the fans to continue supporting, it will be a very difficult year, but your encouragement will be essential in every game. The support of the fans and partners will be good for us,” concluded the player, aware that the support of the fans will be crucial in a 2025 full of challenges for Oriente Petrolero.
