The National Department of Statistics (Dane) has launched a new job call to form its Bank of Operational Service Providers for the censuses to be carried out in 2024.
This initiative seeks to hire 230 people in 23 cities across the country, including Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena, among others, to strengthen their work teams in the coming year.

Vacancies include positions for urban and rural enumerators, field coordinators, and rural and urban supervisors.
– Urban and rural interviewers: They will be responsible for visiting selected homes to conduct thematic surveys on the regular residents of the dwellings. There are 68 vacancies for this position for urban interviewers and 76 for rural interviewers.
Requirements include having a bachelor’s degree with six months of related work experience, vocational technical training with three months of experience, technological training with two months of experience, or two semesters of undergraduate university completed and passed with four months of related work experience. The salary for this position is $1,950,000 and the estimated duration of the job is 12 months.

– Field coordinators: They have 25 vacancies available and their objective will be to lead the operational team during the collection of information, ensuring compliance with the coverage, quality and timeliness indicators.
To apply for this position, applicants must have a degree in technology training and 22 months of related work experience, seven semesters of undergraduate college completed and passed with 20 months of experience, or completion of college studies with 12 months of related work experience.
He Field coordinator salary is $2,800,000 and the duration of the work is also 12 months.

– Field supervisors, both rural and urban: They have 31 and 30 vacancies respectively. These supervisors will be in charge of organizing and directing the information gathering process, equitably distributing the loads to the operational staff.
Requirements for these positions include having a vocational technical training degree with nine months of related work experience, technological training with six months of experience, or four semesters of undergraduate university completed and passed with six months of related work experience.
The salary for field supervisors is $2,100,000 and the duration of the job is 12 months.
