The organizers of the 27th edition of the International Ballet Festival reported that the performance will be tomorrow, October 29, in the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater. The leading roles will be in charge of Kochetkova, in the role of Giselle, and Luz, in Albrecht.
The historian of the National Ballet of Cuba, Miguel Cabrera, announced that the program of the event includes five performances of that classic, which will culminate on November 2 in salute to the 79th anniversary of the debut of the prima ballerina absolute Alicia Alonso with that same work at the American Ballet Theatre.
The Festival will run until November 13 with the purpose of turning the capital into the venue for one of the most anticipated events on the Cuban cultural scene.
