The 27th edition of the International Festival of Dance in Urban Landscapes will intertwine the public with the most varied artistic expressions between April 21 and 30 in the Historic Center of Old Havanaas reported by its organizers.
The event, also known as Old Havana: City in Motion, aims to bring together around a hundred artists from different companies, both national and foreign, in emblematic places in the capital area such as Plaza de Armas and Las Carolinas, according to a report from the Prensa Latina (PL) agency.

The company Dance Theater Patchworkdirected by teacher Isabel Bustos, is in charge of organizing this event, which promotes dancing in public spaces in Havana.
For three days, the meeting will take to the streets and cultural centers such as the Habana Espacios Creativos laboratory for multidisciplinary experimentation, the Cuban Art Factory, the Center for the Development of Visual Arts and the National Museum of Fine Arts, among others, adds the half.
Concerts, workshops, master classes, conferences, performances, exhibitions and video projections will take place in these places.
The program includes holding a meeting of thoughts between specialists in the field, an action that aims to preserve the thought and written memory of the dance, the publication specifies.
Among the main attractions that the upcoming edition brings are the presentation in the Plaza de Armas of the work Rezos en el Aire, by Danza Teatro Retazos; a concert at the National Museum of Fine Arts, where lyrical singing will merge with flamenco guitar and regular meetings with the community.
PL points out that the 17th edition of the DV Danza Habana, Movimiento y Ciudad Videodance Festival will take place in parallel, which among its proposals includes the selection of works from the Choreoscope Barcelona Dance Film Festival, in addition to the special participation of the Mexican filmmaker Ana Baer.
As a novelty, the activities will be broadcast live through the different platforms of the festival, a practice that was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic and that the organizers wish to maintain.
