The intense rains of recent weeks increased the availability of water in the dams for agricultural use by 60,833 cubic hectometers (each hectometer is equivalent to one billion liters), 88.3 percent more than in June, when conditions prevailed. drought, according to the Agrifood and Fisheries Information Service (SIAP).

The dams with the most liquid are Luis Laureano León, Chihuahua and La Calera, Guerrero, both with 100 percent, while Cuauhtémoc, Sonora and Copándaro, Michoacán have the lowest percentages with less than 15.
