The ranchers dedicated to the production of fresh milk from the Majes Irrigation announced that this tuesday march 15 will paralyze activities, in rejection of the low prices per liter of milkthe same ones that have been maintained for 15 years.
According to the president of the National Convention of Peruvian Agro, Clímaco Cárdenas, they are approximately 3 thousand 600 families affected with low prices in the Arequipa region.

The ranchers marched today through different streets of Majes-El Pedregal to demand a better payment from the Gloria company for a liter of milk, considering that the production cost increased by about 40%.
Due to this price variation in cattle feed and care, several producers changed their category and sold their animals.
They also demand that the central government improve regulation so that the company do not import powder into milk for the production of evaporated milk.
Ranchers warned a week ago that They will block the Panamericana Sur of Arequipa in order to be heard, affecting travelers and carriers.
