Daily coronavirus infections remain over 1,600 this Friday in Colombia

This Friday, the daily coronavirus infections in Colombia remain almost stable. The Ministry of Health revealed that, in the last 24 hours, in the country 1,687 new cases were registered, 60 less than this Thursday.

Likewise, the number of deaths was 42, of which 38 belong to previous days.

With these figures, the total number of infections in Colombia reached 5’089,695 and deaths at 129,011. The Ministry of Health issued a new invitation to continue with the vaccination scheme and continue with biosecurity measures in order to avoid a rebound in cases at all costs.

In the course of the pandemic, Bogotá has registered a total of 1,466,026 infections, while Antioquia reached a total of 774,874 cases and Valle del Cauca 418,709. Thus the things and according to the most recent report of the Ministry, the capital of the country added today 295 new cases.

The report also indicates that 53,351 tests (26,591 PCR and 26,760 antigens). Meanwhile, eIn the country, 4,930,529 have recovered after becoming infected with the coronavirus, while 12,208 cases remain active.
