In the epidemiological report issued this afternoon by the Ministry of Health (Minsa), Panama reports 769,457 accumulated cases of Covid-19, of which 479 are new positive cases. For the last 24 hours, no deaths were reported for a cumulative of 8,179 and a lethality of 1.1%.
According to the Minsa, the recovered amount to 758,759, of which 262 are added to this group. 7,176 tests were applied for a positivity of 6.7%.
In addition, they report that 2,519 active cases remain in the country, divided into 2,441 in home isolation and 78 hospitalized. Those in isolation: 2,422 at home and 19 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 68 in the Ward and 10 in the ICU.
In the report, the Minsa said that, through the Expanded Immunization Program, this week they will reinforce the application of the third dose and booster dose in circuits 2-4, Aguadulce in Coclé; 4-3, 4-5 in Chiriquí; 8-1 in Arraiján, Panamá Oeste; 8-6 in San Miguelito and 9-1 Santiago, Veraguas.
