In the last 24 hours, Panama reported that to date there are 771,005 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19 and 542 new positive cases and two deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, for a cumulative to date of 8,182 deaths and usna lethality of 1.1%.
The number of recoveries amounted to 759,495 and in the last 24 hours 6,484 tests were applied for a positivity of 8.4%.
Active cases total 3,328, while 3,256 people are in home isolation, divided into 3,239 at home and 17 in hotels. Those hospitalized add up to 72, divided into 65 in the ward and 7 in the ICU.
In its report today, Friday, the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that in Panama a total of 8,022,785 vaccines against Covid-19.
The PAI reported that of this total they have been applied 3,459,327 first doses, 3,0630,313 second doses, 10,982 third doses, 796 fourth doses and 1,491,367 booster doses. While Pfizer’s pediatric vaccine has been applied throughout the country 385,920.
