President Franco’s Prosecutor’s Office prosecuted a man who allegedly assaulted his youngest daughter with a wooden stick. Supposedly, the father was angry because the girl tried to communicate with her mother that she is abroad.
Prosecutor Viviana Sánchez charged a man with physically assaulting her 14-year-old daughter, who allegedly hit her legs with a wooden stick, causing injuries. The alleged aggressor is identified with the initials PAFB, 63 years old, who faces the process for family violence. He is a repeat offender in the act, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the data, the attack occurred on June 20, at approximately 9:00 p.m., in a building located in the Padre Damián neighborhood of Presidente Franco. On the occasion, the man would have been upset with her daughter because she herself was trying to communicate, by telephone, with her mother, who is in the city of São Paulo (Brazil).
After the beating, the accused allegedly threatened the victim, who immediately left the house together with her 8-year-old sister and took refuge in the home of another older sister.
The adolescent declared before the fiscal unit that her father was always violent and as a result of this situation she has a restraining order, issued by the Justice of the Peace, according to Interlocutory Order No. 245 dated May 23, 2022, confirmed with final judgment No. 145 of June 9, 2022.
The defendant is deprived of liberty in police headquarters, at the disposal of the Criminal Court of Guarantees. The representative of the Public Ministry requested his preventive detention. The same is exposed to up to 6 years of imprisonment, according to the respective norm.
