The approval of the trust of 44 million dollars for works in Canelones had the vote of the white mayor Juan López, and for this he was expelled from the National Party, since he did not bow to party discipline.
Senator Sebastián Da Silva was one of the most critical and accused Orsi of “buying joint votes”, a statement that generated the rejection of both the Canarian departmental chief and the mayor involved, Juan López.
Da Silva went further and in the last few hours he reiterated his annoyance with Orsi. In this regard, he assured – in statements to “Doble Click” of FM Del Sol – that he hired two administrative lawyers and a civil engineer to closely monitor the destination of the 44 million dollars so that “they do not end up liquefying the budget of the Intendancy”.
He said that there are three professionals that he hired with his salary, and that in the professional world they are charged by the hour.
He explained that they must analyze “every tender that theoretically should go out to execute a silver world, they will have to review the award and the experience of the winning company.”
House of Cards
“We are surprised, we are outraged, this type of dark arrangement that may have a lot of ‘House of Cards’, but has nothing to do with the policy that we want and defend”, sentenced the nationalist legislator in reference to the alleged arrangement of Orsi with Mayor Lopez.
