“D-Day”: vaccination across the country this weekend

This weekend, vaccination activities will be intensified in the different health regions, with doses against measles, rubella, poliomyelitis, as well as others from the regular scheme and anticovid.

Some regions such as Guairá, Amambay and Cordillera have already begun vaccination intensification activities in their territories, and others will do so this weekend, in days called “Day D”, with the aim of continuing to increase the vaccination coverage at the country level.

The scheduled schedule for the weekend is presented as follows:

• Asuncion

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Vaccination centers and house-to-house brigades, by mapping in territories of prioritized health services.

Schedule in 5 fixed positions:

Saturday and Sunday: from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

House-to-house tour hours in prioritized territories:

Saturday: from 08:00 to 16:00.

Sunday: from 08:00 to 12:00.

• Center

Saturday November 19. Vaccinations, and house-to-house brigades, for mapping in territories of prioritized health services.

Fixed position hours

Saturday: from 07:00 to 16:00.

Sunday: from 07:00 to 13:00.

• Mountain range

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Vaccinations and house-to-house brigades.

Fixed positions hours: from 07:00 to 16:00.

House to house hours: from 07:00 to 13:00.

• Conception

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Vaccinatories and house-to-house brigades in the 13 districts.

Fixed positions hours: from 07:00 to 12:00.

• Caaguazú

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Vaccinatories and house-to-house brigades, in the 22 districts.

Fixed positions hours: from 08:00 to 16:00.

House to house hours: from 08:00 to 13:00.

• Amambay

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Vaccination at the Paraguay-Brazil border.

Hours in Licio Borralho Square (International Line): from 09:00 to 19:00.

• Saint Peter

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. House-to-house brigades in the 24 districts.

House to house hours: from 07 to 13:00.

• Missions

Saturday November 19. Vaccinations and house-to-house brigades.

Vaccination hours: from 07:00 to 12:00.

• Caazapa

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. House-to-house brigades in the districts of Caazapá, San Juan, Tava’i, Yuty and Maciel.

House to house hours: from 07:00 to 12:00.

• Upper Paraná

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. House-to-house brigades in the 22 districts and permanent posts in hospitals in CDE, Hernandarias, Minga Guazú and Presidente Franco.

Hours of these fixed positions: Saturday, from 07:00 to 13:00.

Sunday at the CDE regional hospital: from 07:00 to 15:00.

• President Hayes

Saturday November 19. Extramural care, with vaccination, in Nanawa and Villa Hayes.

Saturday: from 08:00 to 13:00.

• Upper Paraguay

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. Fuerte Olimpo, Puerto Casado and Puerto Sastre vaccination centers.

Hours of fixed positions: from 07:00 to 12:00.

• Canindeyu

Saturday November 19. Fixed position in front of the XIV Sanitary Region.

Fixed position hours: from 07:00 to 13:00.

• Anchovy

Saturday November 26. Districts of Mariscal Estigarribia, Filadelfia, Loma Plata and Boquerón.

House for house. From 07:00 to 12:00.
