During the interview, Chicoma mentioned three points to keep in mind when making a purchase online.
- The URL: All pages that handle online transactions must have the following letters “https” at the beginning of the URL, this will be an indicator that the page has a security certificate to validate operations.
- Where to buy: To make a virtual purchase, it is important to identify and do it through well-known pages of department stores or specialized stores.
- Payment methods: Depending on the modalities offered by the page to buy, each person can choose the means of payment they want, be it bank deposit, transfers or through the digital wallet (Yape, Plin)
It is important to perform these steps depending on the web page where the transaction will be made.

To optimize a purchase within these days of offers, Professor Chicoma suggested the following: “You have to do an ant search, because it is possible to find a refrigerator that normally costs S/ 6,000 or S/ 7,000, but it can be found for half the price”, he pointed out.
