As of the third week of December 2024, it already exceeds what was collected during the same period of 2023 by 12.56%, and predicts that it will exceed RD$250 billion in collection by the end of the year.
This significant collection achievement is due to the hard work and the different initiatives implemented in the institution to become one of the most efficient collectors in the State.
The DGA has already collected RD$247,837.18 million, more than RD$17 billion than the RD$230,912.05 million collected in 2022, which had been the year with the highest collection in the history of the institution.
Regarding subsequent audits, this year the DGA has audited 44 of 102 companies, which has concluded in reliquidations for more than RD$1,400 million pesos.
In terms of services, the DGA expanded operations at the Las Américas International Airport to speed up the distribution of goods that arrive by air and express parcels.
While the Economic Studies and Data Analysis management made available to the public an innovative Trade Dashboard that provides real-time statistics on the country’s customs operations and trade with foreign countries.
This year was also transcendental in terms of the automation of user services, which have tripled, reaching a total of 76 through the institution’s services platform.
In February 2024, the institution’s Data Center was renovated with cutting-edge technology and the highest international standards, with sophisticated energy systems, greater operational capacity and resistance to natural disasters.
In addition, the incorporation of three new Eagle P60 model X-ray scanners was completed at the Caucedo Multimodal Port.
