The Provincial Federation of Peasants and the Patriotic Front of canchisthrough a document that entered the Anticorruption Prosecutor of the Cuzcorequest the impediment to leave the country for the provincial mayor, Kari Macedo Condori.
The request is based on the preliminary investigation that is being carried out against the mayor and other municipal officials for the commission of crimes of passive bribery.
The authority is accused of being a member of an alleged criminal organization after being denounced in June 2021 for job trafficking in a CAS process of the Provincial Municipality of Canchis.
The complaint that today is in the hands of the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Corruption Crimes of Cusco Officials. It was carried out by Benito Quispe Puma, who held the position of Secretary of the United Defense Front for the Interests of Canchis (fudic).
According to the complainant and former secretary of the Fudic Benito Quispe Puma, together with leaders of other unions, on the afternoon of October 14 they also presented a petition requesting the dismissal of the prosecutor in charge of the Alan Fabricio García Pérez case.
The request addressed to the president of the Cusco Board of Prosecutors, Carlos Alberto Sánchez, maintains that prosecutor García Pérez does not carry out his work.
If the requests are not met, Quispe Puma assures that the unions of the province of Canchis will travel to Lima to request the dismissal of the president of the Cusco Board of Prosecutors.
