Given this scenario, the Regional Government of Cusco expressed its concern through a statement, in which it proposed a series of initiatives that help put an end to the unfortunate events that have been taking place in the protests and that have mourned all of Peru.
In this regard, the regional entity urged the Executive and Legislative Powers to take action on the matter quickly, in order to prevent the expressions of violence that have taken place in recent days from increasing their intensity in the coming hours.
In this sense, from the GORE Cusco a series of claims have been made known, addressed both to the president Dina Boluarteas for parliamentarians.

Regarding the requests made to the Congress of the republicthe Regional Government of Cusco requested that the present Legislature be extended until December 22, so that the advancement of elections that is so required by the protesters can be debated and approved.
The requests of the mayor’s entity were also extended to future regional governments, which he called to hold a dialogue with Dina Boluarte and agree to the suspension of face-to-face school work and declare the health sector on a yellow alert as a result of the series of injuries and deaths in these brawls.
Finally, a call was made to the public to “remain calm, peaceful and channel their just demands within a framework of respect”, trying to use dialogue in favor of their demands and avoid further confrontations.
