After three days of work, the fire that started at noon on June 28 at the “Llamakancha” archaeological site, located in the San Antonio sector of Toronto, at Km 95 of the Machu Picchu-Hydroelectric route, in Cusco , has already been controlled, as reported by the mayor of the district of Machupicchu, Darwin Baca León.

On the other hand, local authorities continue to carry out the Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (EDAN). Until now, the event has destroyed 40 hectares of natural cover. No damage to life or health of people is reported.
