Cundinamarca ranks first in Saber 11 test results in the country

The Government indicated that it incorporated socio-emotional tools for students.

He department of Cundinamarca achieved a historic achievement in educational matters. According to the most recent ranking of the Ministry of Education on the average results of the Saber 11 tests valid for 2025, The department went from fourth place obtained in 2024 to first place among all departmental territorial entities in the country.

With an average score of 268, Cundinamarca was positioned as the territory with the best academic performance at the regional level. Governor Jorge Emilio Rey celebrated this result.

“We are very satisfied because the Ministry of Education has published the ranking of average results, Saber eleven tests, valid two thousand twenty-five, and we have gone from fourth place in 2024 to first place among departmental territorial entities, with a score of two hundred and sixty-eight in the department of Cundinamarca,” he stated.

One of the strategies occurs through alliances with different actors such as the Alquería Cavelier Foundationan organization that has accompanied academic strengthening processes in official institutions of the department.

“This is the result of the efforts of the students, the parents, the principals, but also of an alliance that we have made with the business community, more precisely with the Alquería Cabalier Foundation, where, through that constant improvement program,” he said.

Through this program, students have simulations of tests from the ninth, tenth and eleventh grades, which allows learning difficulties to be identified in time and leveling processes to be carried out before the official exam.

In addition to the academic component, the Government has incorporated socio-emotional tools for students and teachers, in order to improve emotional management, decision making and school climate.

In parallel, teacher training has been expanded, a key aspect to ensure that teachers have updated methodologies and pedagogical skills that strengthen learning in all areas evaluated by Icfes.

The Government announced that it will continue to allocate resources to quality educational programs, with the aim of maintaining the leadership achieved and close gaps in rural and urban institutions.
