CDMX, January 6, 2025. This Monday with the presence of the Secretary of Energy, Luz Elena González Escobar, the arrival of Engineer Cuitláhuac García Jiménez as the new General Director of the National Center for Natural Gas Control (CENAGAS) was made official.
The former governor of Veracruz and former federal representative for Xalapa, has extensive training in engineering issues:
- Mechanical Electrical Engineer graduated from the Universidad Veracruzana
- He has a postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering in the Postgraduate Department of the ESIME (Zacatenco Unit) of the National Polytechnic Institute
- He has a Master of Science in Advanced Control from the University of Manchester, England.
- Doctoral stay at the Technical University of Hamburg, Germany, in the specialized area of Control Systems.
“With his extensive experience in the energy sector, he will join efforts to strengthen energy sovereignty and ensure a reliable supply that drives the development of the country.” It was part of the energy minister’s welcome message to the new Director.
