This Sunday morning, Morales during his program on Kawsachun Coca radio, in addition to acknowledging that “obviously within the MAS -IPSP there are traitors, but there is no division“, referred to the ‘right-wing’ of the Movement Towards Socialism:
“And say: ‘there are different political currents,’ well Are they wanting to right the MAS? (…) I am capable of holding a workshop (for) some ministers and deputy ministers who are with that current. I asked, (the) last year, on the anniversary of the MAS-IPSP in La Paz: ‘the national leadership to take care of the ideological and programmatic aspect’. If in any ministry they think (that it should not be like this), please, (with) That’s why people say (to) their comrades: ‘the pititas are in the government‘”.
Cuéllar-whose expulsion from MAS has been suspended by the Plurinational Constitutional Court (TCP) after he had filed a Specific Unconstitutionality Action, with the aim of preserving his constitutional, civil and political rights- is considered to be from the ‘wing renewal’ of that party and has questioned Morales on several occasions.
In his social media post you can see two photographs framed and hung on the back wall, those corresponding to Luis Arce and David Choqueahuanca, perhaps as a message of his loyalties to the country’s current top authorities.
