The offer includes round-trip airfare, lodging, three “transfers” to malls and places of purchase, and two 23-kilo suitcases free of charge.
In addition to the package, you will have to pay 30 euros in cash for a tourist card, valid for a single entry, but which avoids the visa application process to travel to Venezuela.
Reservations can be made at the 23 YL desk of the Cubatur agency, located in the Havana Libre hotel in Havana.
After the news, many Cubans have seen another way to emigrate or to buy goods and then resell them in Cuba.
“With those tour packages will shopping be a business? Since it says that you can bring 2 suitcases of 23 Kg plus one of 5 Kg and transfers to malls and shopping places are included? Question the user Adrián Gama Broche.
While others denounce the high prices for a Cuban worker. As well as the collection in MLC, a currency in which the regime does not pay Cubans.
“I would like to know what worker, bus driver, polyclinic worker, bakery worker, in short, a worker on foot, how long would it take in his life to save 96 thousand pesos to afford to go to Isla de Margarita”, questions Raúl Méndez.
“For the modest price of 96 thousand pesos you can go four nights to Isla de Margarita. We only have to save 20 months”, says Ivett Agete ironically.
For her part, Carla Pedraye wrote: “First start by paying the salaries in MLC and then make these types of offers. This is beyond ridiculous.”
