AREQUIPA, Peru – The new version of the Transfermóvil application is now available for its users on the Island, including new features related to the management of liquefied and manufactured gas, a product that does not meet the demand of the population, as reported by the Cuban authorities this same end. of week.
The director of support and development of the digital products division, Julio Antonio García Trápaga, explained to the state media CubaYes that the new version of the APK is 1.24.11.24, and contains the following new features:
-Using “MiTurno” the commercial procedures associated with the Fuel Marketing Company (ENCC) will be organized, especially regarding liquefied gas.
-The new alternative of full payment of all debt is also introduced in the case of manufactured gas.
In the case of commercial procedures with ENCC, especially in relation to liquefied gas, also known as balita gas, in this first stage they do not include the purchase of balita gas, but rather cover those circumstances that modify the status of the contract, since be it award due to death, transfer of contract or transfer to another location, among other of the many procedures carried out in commercial houses.
According to official information, to carry out these procedures each user from Transfermóvil You can only reserve appointments for two people. That is, you will only be able to request an appointment for two identity cards, and each document can only be in the queue organized by this service once.
The identity card that must be provided is that of the owner of the contract or the person authorized to carry out the procedure with the ENCC. Each card can only reserve a single shift at a time until it is attended to. This is a rule similar to the one that already exists for this “MiTurno” service platform.
The price of the request for said shift will have a value of 10 CUP.
There are two important pieces of information that are provided at all times in this MiTurno service: the queue position and the shift number. The position of the queue indicates the number where the queue goes and is the one that moves forward, while the shift number is the number that the user has in the queue, acquired at the time of the request, and is fixed, it does not vary.
However, although the new features of the application promise to facilitate some procedures, it is the relationship between the high demand for gas and its insufficient availability that is the problem for homes on the Island.
The shortage of liquefied gas
On October 31, the official media Havana Tribunein its digital version, published a note from the Liquefied Gas Company announcing that as of Monday, November 4, the supply of that fuel in the provinces of Havana, Artemisa and Mayabeque would be “affected.”
This weekend, and almost a month after that announcement, the state portal Cubadebate reported on the reestablishment of the sale of liquefied gas in Cuba after the arrival of a ship at the “Hermanos Díaz” refinery in Santiago de Cuba.
The deputy director of the Cuba-Petroleum Union, Irenaldo Pérez Cardoso, said in a press conference that the ship will transport the liquefied gas to Havana on December 3. Subsequently, the ship will travel to Matanzas and Nuevitas, Camagüey, from where it will return to Santiago de Cuba to carry out a second unloading, before returning to the capital.
However, the manager acknowledged that “not all demand will be met.”“since “there has been a bump in the delivery of fuel due to the arrival of the product“.
According to Pérez Cardoso, there must be liquefied gas coverage of 17 to 20 days on the Island. Almost half of the customers were not able to purchase the fuel in the previous shipment, he assured, so those affected would have priority in the current distribution.
