MIAMI, United States. – Norbert Karl Molina, a 23-year-old Cuban who had been sleeping in his car in Miami, got a job after the mobilization of the Cuban-American community on social networks. The story became known through publications of the influencer Cuban Dairon Cano Águila (@dairon_cano_aguila on TikTok), who documented the case and updated the young man’s situation.
According to Cano Águila, his compatriot’s request was not economic or material, but strictly work-related. In a video released this Wednesdayhe influencer He stressed: “This boy is not asking for money, he is not asking for anything material, the only thing he wants is a job to be able to get ahead and regain his stability.”
After the case went viral, several Cubans residing in the United States offered employment opportunities to Karl Molina, who would already be working.
Dairon Cano Águila confirmed that the young man will begin a new stage with the support of the community and that, after several days sleeping in his vehicle, on Wednesday night he was going to rest in a motel, in a bed. “Thank you to everyone who shared their case. Dairon Cano Águila has pointed out that the 23-year-old does not have family in Miami and that his situation became complicated when his work permit expired: he lost his job and, later, his home. Despite this, he remained focused on finding a job opportunity to recover the rent for a place to live.
